Gurkee's handmade sandals are made of 100% soft textured polypropylene carpet yarn custom twisted into our special Comfort Twist™ rope. Not only are Gurkee's a Vegan product and green product, but they are made to last for years. Each pair is heat welded. No glue and no stitching.

The absolute closest to being barefoot and still allowed in public places. I have bought several pairs of Gurkee's over the last 20+ years and was heartbroken when the store I purchased them from permanently closed. I am so grateful I can order them direct. I was pleasantly surprised by the short amount of time between ordering and having them on my feet!

I absolutely love these sandals. With everything that's going on, I haven't had a chance to wear them out, and of course the weather hasn't been cooperating either. I have tried them on and walked around the house. They are so comfortable. Have I told you how beautiful they are? I can't wait to wear them out in public. I know that I'm going to get lots of comments. This is my first pair and I definitely plan on buying more.

These are the first pair of gurkees I’ve owned and I love them! At first they’re not AS comfortable (but that’s with ANY shoe/sandal) but after breaking them in they’re awesome! Definitely buying more!!
