Classic Neptune Black Rope Sandals

I love them, I had a pair for over 20 years my daughters dog chewed one of them and I freaked out, I was so happy to be able to replace them !!!

I have worn Gurkee's for many years. This order was a replacement for a worn pair of previous Gurkee's in the same color. I remember my first pair i only paid $10 from a co-worker who sold them in his tanning salon. I have been hooked ever since. My friends tease me about my "jesus" shoes that i wear as soon as it's warm enough in the Spring and don't stop wearing until it's too cold in the winter. I love that they are washable and can be worn for many many years.

I have been wearing Gurkee's for over 18 years. I have several colors. I actually have my very first pair I bought, and just worn a hole in the sole . Every time I wear my Gurkee's I'm always getting so many compliments on how much they like my Gurkee's and where they can go to buy them. I wear them all year around !!!!

I bought the standard size, and my quite wide feet were very happy! This is my second pair of Gurkees and I love their minimal support for strong feet, and how comfortable they are - easy to slip on and off for barefoot hiking! The only drawback is that they get very heavy when wet and they take a long time to dry - otherwise these are the best! Far better than any commercial sandals I've ever worn and I get many compliments on their unique "Jesus sandal" style! :)

Loved my ivory Gurkees and still wearing them after several years. Decided to get a pair in black. Fit & construction are perfect and they are even more comfortable than my old ones. I originally ordered the wrong model in the wrong size...and the exchange by mail went fine...good service.

I was given my first pair of Gurkee's when I was 14 years old, 20 years ago. Since then, I have purchased a pair nearly every year. I wear them so often, they wear out after a year of heavy use (and by heavy, I mean, picture walking through NYC for dozens and dozens of blocks on the concrete, multiple times a year...). They are the absolute most comfortable sandal ever, and I just love them. I have had a couple different designs, though I like the Neptune the best. I have also owned them in a couple different colors. I have never had a blister, never had the ropes rub my feet. I wear them to the beach, in the city, in the woods, with jeans and with dresses. I'm a girl who loves her shoes, too- but in the summer, this is almost all I wear, unless I'm going to some function that's not casual. I would recommend these to anyone- and often do, because many people ask me about them. I've gotten them for friends, also. I just bought my most recent pair, because I am pregnant, and my feet cannot tolerate sneakers in the summer, plus most sandals are just not comfortable or supportive. These little babies are saving my poor feet.
