Each and every part of building your pair of Gurkee's is created by hand from straps to soles by American Artisans in the mountains of West Virginia. Construction: Gurkee's Rope Sandals are made of carpet yarn from carpet mills of South Eastern USA and shipped to our rope twisting facility at our sandal shop in West Virginia. Then the yarn is twisted into our custom made COMFORT TWIST™ rope. No glue or stitching! Gurkee's are heat fused together by hand. They are 100% COMFORT TWIST™ rope. |
